Women’s Center Openings

Residential Care Mentor
In collaboration with the Lead Mentor, the Residential Care Mentor will serve as the Center’s point of contact and liaison for the day-to-day shift activities and responsibilities at the Center.

Women’s Center Nurse
The Women’s Center Nurse is responsible for providing basic nursing care, medication management, and client advocacy.

Men’s Center Openings

Shelter Services Overnight Staff
Under the direction of the Shelter Services Supervisor, the Overnight Staff is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the overnight activities at KCRM.

Administration Openings

Executive Director
As the primary leader of KCRM, the executive director must be a deeply committed follower of Christ: a compassionate person of integrity with a heart for the poor and homeless. This person will be responsible for the collaborative and empowered leadership of staff in the daily administration and execution of the organizations strategic plan; must be an entrepreneurial visionary, an inspirational communicator, able to build and maintain healthy community relations and be actively engaged in marketing and fundraising.

Director of Development
The director of development oversees and manages the development team in its efforts to raise KCRM’s annual budget, oversees giving campaigns, funds capital projects, cultivates donor relationships, raises in‐kind gifts and works alongside the director of marketing and communications to promote the work of KCRM.

Church Relations Specialist
The church relations specialist establishes, cultivates, and maintains relationships with churches in metropolitan Kansas City, assisting each church to realize its vision to serve the poor and homeless as servants of Christ through the work of Kansas City Rescue Mission.

Facilities Assistant (PT and FT)
This person is responsible to provide the Kansas City Rescue Mission with various work duties related to physical property and vehicles to include safe, efficient courier service, and basic fleet maintenance; janitorial work; and general maintenance and repairs to buildings and systems on both KCRM campuses.
